The cottage is very nicely furnished and equipped to a good standard and conveniently located for many local attractions. Within Devon's heartland and situated just off the A3072, makes this a great base from which to explore Somerset, Exmoor and Dartmoor National Parks and the north and south coasts. The property is positioned perfectly for walking, fishing, horse riding and golf together with National Trust properties nearby. The area caters for couples and families with magnificent walks and picturesque villages. Tiverton is a 10 minutes' drive, with its historic town and famous horse-drawn canal boats on the Grand Western Canal. Bickleigh, with its castle and the Devon Rail Centre, has thatched inns, overlooking the River Exe, serving food and local ales. 10 minutes the other way is Crediton, with traditional shops, two supermarkets and numerous pubs and restaurants. Why not simply relax with a glass of wine and a book on the roof terrace which overlooks the beautiful surrounding countryside. The cottage is approached via steps down to the property. The accommodation consists of TWO bedrooms: 1 double with doors leading to a balcony roof terrace and 1 further single with additional bed to make a cosy twin on request. Bathroom: with shower over bath and WC. Lounge/diner: L shaped with exposed beams, flatscreen TV with Freeview, DVD, PlayStation, hi-fi, a selection of CDs and DVDs, games, books and puzzles and with doors leading to the outside. Kitchen: with electric oven, electric hob, microwave, washing machine, fridge and freezer. Outside: french doors lead out to an enclosed garden with lawn, patio, seating and BBQ, usually alive with several species of wild birds feeding. Amenities: ample parking. Bed linen, electric, night storage heating and wi-fi included. Heating surcharge of £20 from October - March (inclusive) payable to owner 2 weeks prior to arrival. Regret no smoking within the property. 2 dogs welcome. Location: beaches within 1 hour's drive, pubs and shop 2 miles, supermarkets 6 miles.
